AcetylCysteine, Mucomyst, Parvolex Description Inhaled acetylcysteine is indicated for mucolytic ("mucus dissolving") therapy as an adjuvant in respiratory conditions with excessive and/or thick mucus production, such as emphysema, bronchitis, tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, amyloidosis, pneumonia.
